Roost Solar

The folks at Roost have been very good to work with. It is appears they are very thorough in their approach. We were impressed with the initial assessment, which involved climbing onto the roof and making the appropriate measurements and then providing us with a realistic quote to match our needs and our roof size. The communication pre-, during-, and post-installation (largely via email) was pro-active and timely. Further, all of our questions were answered clearly, in a timely fashion - and with patience (as we are solar newbies). Thank you!!!!

Fantastic experience with Roost Solar from planning to implementation of our system. Steve, Kelly and the whole team were responsive, informative and all around a pleasure to deal with. James, our installer did a fantastic job and answered any questions I had and did a beautiful job with the install. Our system is 9.72 kw and I wasn't offered any unnecessary upgrades and was in fact dissuaded from increasing the size of our inverter unnecessarily (and thus wasting my own money) because it wouldn't have been worthwhile for the small amount of clipping (where panels are producing more than the inverter can handle) we experience. I feel confident recommending solar to any of my friends and family and will continue to pass along Roost's information to anyone who asks me about solar. I spoke with several of the local companies before choosing Roost and I felt they were the most responsive and competent of those I considered.Thanks again! We are very happy with the work you did on our home.

Update for 2020: We just had Roost add 14 more panels to the existing system. And as with our previous install, Roost once again did a great job. Highly recommended!June 2016:We recently had a solar system installed on my home by the pros at Roost Energy. Steve worked within our budget to identify the ideal size of the system for our home. The Roost team showed up on time and were friendly, professional and they really know their stuff. I highly recommend them.

We were extremely impressed with the entire experience with Roost. Their proposal was clear and easy to understand, they were very patient with our numerous questions, and managed to get the system installed within a couple months of our final approval.Installation of our 10kw system occurred over 3 days. The crew was very polite and professional. They worked safely and efficiently but didn't mind answering questions while they worked. They kept their work area clean and tidy, and cleaned up at the end of each day.I was very impressed that the electrical installer took a few extra minutes to orient the wiring in a manner that took him longer but resulted in a much nicer finished result.Even after paying the invoice the team continued to assist with the final setup with BCHydro net metering program, the monitoring system, etc.Overall the experience was excellent. I simply cannot think of anything that could have been done better. While not the cheapest quote we received, I am confident that the extra expense was well worth it given the 25+ years that the system will be in/on our house.

Steve and his team were a pleasure to work with! They have done an incredible job on the installation, were very professional, and took the time to make sure that we understood everything.
